IS JUDGE WITCHER SAFE?
The resolution to replace Judge Witcher was taken off the agenda at the January 19, 2021 commission meeting due to the public outcry. Pepitone made another poor attempt to explain why he was replacing Judge Witcher. Pepitone's explanation as usual was unclear and made no sense. It just proved once again that he should not be a city commissioner.
Several members of the public asked who put the resolution on the agenda to replace Judge Witcher. No commissioner came forward to take responsibility. However in the final minutes of the meeting the truth came out thanks to Commissioner Udalovas' closing statement. The member of Team Santiago who pushed for the replacement of Judge Witcher was BRUCE COOPER. Yes it was Bruce Cooper who was too much of a coward to admit it or defend his lapse in judgement in pushing for the replacement.
This meeting showed that the public can make a difference. If enough individuals speak up then change can happen. Please keep speaking up. Tonight you made a difference. You can also make a difference by voting. Remember at election time that Pepitone and Cooper tried to replace Judge Witcher. Pepitone and Cooper are running with Jim Quinn for the city commission in November. Guess who the treasurer for their campaign is? Doug Long's office manager. Small world isn't it?

In the first year of their term, They depleted the surplus with the demo of the Eagle building at 109 Main st. Over 2 Million dollars dibbed out to campaign contributors and friends.
Since then they have run wild with bonds to pay for many things that legally are not allowed to be bonded. Raised property taxes, attempted to grant another 15 year Tax abatement to the racetrack. and so much more.
There are investigations ongoing, that involves the city and members of the commission.
Commissioners are supposed to have their own thoughts and mindset for the residents of Millville. Not rule by majority for whats best for themselves.
So a Commissioner (Ashleigh Udalovas) finds it within herself to speak her mind and be open and transparent to the public. With that she is now being black listed and belittled publicly. By commissioners and behind the scenes by Freeholders and others.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Joseph Pepitone votes in lock step, To continue overwhelming Property tax increases, and bonds not to mention contracts to friends. How can he vote to raise property taxes? When he has a long public record of always being delinquent on his own. Look it up its public info.
Then Commissioner Bruce Cooper. Again Ethical complaints at his position with DYFS, Conducting his personal side business on State payroll time. Referring to belittle female co workers. 35,000 dollars spent on a failed primary campaign to run for Freeholder. Look it up Its public info.
How much money will be spent by the Jim Quinn team that includes Bruce Cooper and Joseph Pepitone in the upcoming City Commission election this year, To continue the destruction of whats left of the City of Millville? Along with continuing the paybacks to friends.
But yet they and others are screaming Ethics violations, after Commissioner Udalovas' Comments last night. Kudos Commissioner Udalovas! for speaking your mind.
People that live in stone house (Cooper, Pepitone) should not throw stones.
IF A COMMISSIONER OR ANY ELECTED OFFICIAL WANTS A RESOLUTION OR ORDINANCE TO BE PASSED, THEY SHOULD EXPLAIN THEIR REASONS WHY, NOT HIDING AND PRETENDING THEY DID NOT PART IN IT. IT IS CALLED ACCOUNTABILITY. THINK OF WHEN A MEMBER OF CONGRESS SPONSORS A BILL. THEIR NAME IS ON IT.
THE SMALL MINDEDNESS OF SOME OF THE COMMENTS IS EXACTLY WHY THE PEOPLE OF MILLVILLE DO NOT SPEAK THEIR MINDS AND DO NOT RUN FOR OFFICE. THAT IS WHY MILLVILLE IS IN THE SHAPE IT IS IN - HIGH TAXES, ABANDONED PROPERTIES, WASTEFUL SPENDING, CITIZENS LEAVING, AND AN EMPTY DOWNTOWN.
God forbid these clowns get elected to run the the City of Millville. Millville will quickly go the way of Bridgeton. We are almost there now.
The fact that Mr. Cooper, Mr. Pepitone and Mr. Quinn's campaign treasurer is the former office manager and presently works for the county democratic machine speaks volumes for where their loyalties lie. It is not with Millville.
To Anonymous @ 10:28 PM: Be careful what you are saying.....I guess you are insinuating the remainder of the Commission do know what they are doing?????? WOW!!! What world exactly are you living in? Commissioner Cooper READS from a prepared script provided by the department he oversees. Commissioner Pepitone didn't know what an ACO officer was and had to be told on the DAY he approved a resolution to hire one without even knowing that Millville had an ACO prior to his commission. There are more examples, but I will be running out of space. Frankly, I really think you just stumbled into a meeting & now believe YOU are an expert.... There hasn't been a single Commissioner EVER that knows what they are doing. That is why every municipality hires EMPLOYEES that run the city. I guess you also believe that the School Board is comprised only of teachers. LMAO!!!!!
As for the second Anonymous comment @ 2:23 AM. Is that you Doug Long? Seem to be an expert on ethics violations. I guess you would be.....Accusing Commissioner Udalovas of personal attacks on 2 sitting Commissioners? REALLY? She eloquently spoke the FACTS! Maybe that is what scares you and you have to hide behind ETHICS! Or perhaps someone questioning what could appear as a convoluted and disrespectful means of ousting a sitting judge bothers you. And please list ALL the occassions Commissioner Udalovas blocked the city & caused failures. I am sure I will be tapping my fingers. Or does it seem like you want to vilify a woman. Perhaps you are angry that she is the sole Commissioner that didn't approve Marmaro (or is is Marmaro, Long, or wait did the name change again); or perhaps it just makes you nervous that someone is not afraid to point out what TRULY is happening behind the curtain. If this is you, Mr. Long, you are good at casting stones.....
