Team Quinn No Show at Town Meeting

A group of citizens realized the importance for the public to see all the candidates in one venue and organized a town meeting. We thank them. All the candidates were invited. The meeting was open to the public. The town meeting can be viewed at:  https://www.facebook.com/angel.jewels/videos/563992294708952 None of Team Quinn showed. They stated they had another town meeting at the Millville Motorsports Park however this was private event. When asked, the Motorsports Park said there was no meeting.  Team Quinn lied. Team Quinn was obviously afraid to attend. They have no platform. Quinn, Cooper and Pepitone cannot defend their records. This speaks volumes as to how they are going to act if elected. You will not be able to trust them. They will not be open and transparent with the public. They will not answer your questions. On a positive note the other candidates spoke for 3 hours. They answered any and all questions that the public asked online and in person. Watch the town hall on Fa

Team Quinn's Dirty Partisan Politics

The negative ads have started. Instead of talking about their action plan for Millville, Team Quinn has resorted to skewing the facts against opposing candidate, Joe Sooy. Joe Sooy is one of the few candidates that has a plan to improve Millville and proved that he can when he was a commissioner. Of course Team Quinn will say they are not behind the ads but don't believe them. Remember the negative ad campaign that Cooper and Pepitone used to get elected 4 years ago? Cooper and Pepitone denied that they knew about the ads but that was not the truth. Cooper and Pepitone appointed the individuals behind the ads to high paying positions in the city as a payback. As a matter of fact the same individuals have again backed Cooper and Pepitone. Do not let history repeat itself.  Don't let partisan politics continue to ruin Millville.  Ignore the negative ads. Listen to the candidates. Team Quinn have said nothing about what they are going to do if elected in the next 4 years. They wil

Commissioner Udalovas' Election Advice

At the January 19, 2021 Commission meeting, Commissioner Udalovas made several comments about her fellow commissioners. Commissioner Udalovas has worked with Cooper and Pepitone for 4 years She knows how they act behind the scenes. She knows their work ethinc, thinking and motivation not the show that they put on for the public. These statements were made when Pepitone and Cooper were trying to oust Judge Witcher. (Read previous blog  Is Judge Witcher Safe and  JUDGE WITCHER SAGA UPDATE AND THE PEPITONE - UDALOVAS FEUD)                                                 “Commissioners, it has been 3 years. There is no reason to be unprepared or to not be aware of the process. If we                        have not learned that there is due process for each function in local government by the third year of service, it is                          clear by the beginning of the fourth year that it cannot be learned or will not be learned, and all due to a lack of

COMMISSION CANDIDATES: PART II

There are 10 candidates for this year's city commission election. A blog has been written regarding 3 candidates from Team Quinn namely Quinn, Pepitone, and Cooper. (Are Quinn, Pepitone, and Cooper Good for Millville). How about the other 7 candidates? Kuan Bowleg and Ivelise Perez are part of Team Quinn. They have not talked about their plans and goals for Millville. What will their focus be as commissioners? How do you vote for someone without knowing what they are going to do? Do they even have a plan? Robert McQuade, Jr. is presently on the Millville School Board. He also has not spoken about his plans and goals for Millville. However he does seem to have the best interest of Millville at heart as he has been helping to clean up the city of Millville for years.  Benjamin Romanik has not spoken about his plans and goals for Millville and there is no information about him. A vote for Mr. Romanik would be voting for the complete unknown.  Charles Kirk Hewitt has been a regular at

WILL THE MILLVILLE CITY COMMISSION CANDIDATES DEBATE THIS YEAR?

As of right now the answer is NO, there will not be a debate. City commission candidates Joe Sooy, Kirk Hewitt, and Lisa Orndorf are the only candidates that have stated they want to debate. They even found an independent organization to host the debate. When Team Quinn was asked by the organization to participate, Team Quinn responded NO. Since Team Quinn would not participate, the debate has been cancelled. It was deemed unfair to hold a debate if all the candidates did not participate. Thank you to the organization that tried. Thank you for seeing the need for the debate and trying to provide an unbiased venue. Shame on you, Team Quinn for saying no! Historically there has always been a debate between the candidates. What is Team Quinn afraid of? Is it the fact that Team Quinn is running without a platform? Are they afraid of the other candidates?  The election is right around the corner. The fact that Team Quinn will not debate the other candidates shows their lack of transparency

Are Quinn, Pepitone, and Cooper Good for Millville?

What do you do when you start to lose faith in the entire system. Do you sit back and do nothing or do you try to fix it? Trying to fix it can be as simple as voting. At times it is hard to believe things will change but you cannot give up. This election in November for the Millville City Commission will determine Millville's future. Will the down-hill spiral started by Team Santiago continue or will it be stopped? It will depend on who is elected. It is important that the voters of Millville vote in this election. Look at the candidates. Vote for who will work for Millville. Ask them what they intend to do. Question their answers. You can tell who is telling you the truth versus what you want to hear. Look at their track record. Quinn, Pepitone, and Cooper are running as a team. Would they be good for Millville?            Jim Quinn is a career politician. Mr. Quinn stated that he was a city commissioner  for over 18 years!!! During his last time as commissioner, he left in the mi
